Saltwood Care Centre provides high quality residential & nursing care in a warm, friendly and welcoming environment.

Located on Tanners Hill in Hythe, Kent – the home is a short walk from Hythe High Street and Saltwood Village.

Originally built over 100 years ago as a convalescent home for London Transport staff, the building has been much improved and extended to now provides 66 single bedrooms, most of which have en-suite facilities. The magnificent building sits in landscaped gardens, with a beautiful terrace and stunning sea views.

The home has three lounges, two of which overlook the gardens and enjoy views out to sea. A sophisticated dining room for a wonderful dining experience.

Prior to joining Intergrum Care Group, Julie has worked in the healthcare sector for the past 20 years.

Working at director level, inclusive of holding registered managers positions. Working alongside administration and the CQC (Care Quality Commission) with a focus on improving care homes and ensuring residents’ well-being remains at the core of all decisions.

Julie’s new position will see her take responsibility for the day-to-day running of Saltwood, which provides residential, nursing and dementia care for up to 68 residents. Bringing a holistic approach to care, Julie will ensure residents are encouraged to live active and fulfilling lives while supporting them to remain as independent as possible.

Julie is most looking forward to working with a fantastic team in an environment that is welcoming, supportive and friendly for both residents and team members.

Julie is particularly looking forward to working with a new team and supporting their future development to ensure that Saltwood continues to provide the best care possible.

Julie is also very keen on getting to know all the residents and providing them with high-quality, personalised care, ensuring they continue to live enriched, independent lives.
